Black screen when i'm trying to call somebody /Moto Q9h

Postby hello on Sun Jul 27, 2008 8:08 pm

Hello, i want to try you program, but now i don't have any SIP, whatever, when i'm trying to use your program on my Motorola Q9h, i'm choosing contacts then choosing any name, like HOME, then i press Select - and see: Calling HOME, well, adter ~5 second i see BLACK SCREEN and my keyboard light goes OFF too. It's like my phone shutdowned, but my phone still good and after 30sec ~ 2 minutes, i'm just press any button and see my Today Screen, but sometimes, i'm waiting 10~20 minutes and black screen keeps shows me!

wtf? how to fix it?

Maybe it's only for trial versions and maybe because i don't have personal SIP account? i'm tryed to change you STUN to LOCAL, just for test and have a same result.
I'm using BlueToothe connections via ActiveSync, i have hight speed internet connections, i don't have 3G now :( and of course WiFI, because in MotoQ don't have wifi modul.

 thanx

Welcome to the forums and thank you for your inquiry. I am not too sure about what makes your Q9 crash, but I hope that we can find the reason and fix it. First, you need a VoIP provider in order to test our softphone. If you didn't decide for one yet, take a look at

http://backsla.sh/betamax (ageet Corporation is not affiliated with any of those providers)

to find out which one would be good for you. Many of the providers on that list provide a few trial calls and so you don't need to pay for anything if you are just in for a little test run. Just try to make a call once you have set up one of the providers with AGEphone Mobile 2 and see if the problem persists. Please note that Active Sync is not suitable for VoIP connections and you have to use your EDGE connection in this case (which is not really suitable for VoIP).
