Eliminating Echo on Pocket PC Device

How can I reduce or eliminate the echo being heard from people on the other end of the conversation.

I tried AGEPhone Mobile Ver. 2.63 software on two different devices, both have an echo problem. My main device is an HTC Advantage X7501. Since this pocket PC has rather loud speakers I expected that echo would be a problem with this model.

I also tried the software on my Verizon Pocket PC Model XV6700 and had the same problem.

I don't see any echo reduction setting in the software's configuration settings.

Any suggestions we be appreciated!

Hello Ben and welcome to the forums! You won't find any options for echo cancellation because the softphone does not support this feature as of yet. The only way to reduce the echo is to use a headset or turn down the volume during calls as much as possible. We are currently evaluating several echo cancellation packages and once we have found something that is suitable for mobile devices we will add this feature to AGEphone Mobile.
