| I sometimes get the question why AGEphone Mobile comes as a .CAB and what to do with that kind of file. It's not an unusual question as many people are used to Active Sync to install their programs. Using a .CAB that intermediary step is not necessary however as this kind of file can be run directly from your Pocket PC. Just copy AGEphoneMobile2.CAB somewhere on your device and run it from there. It asks you where to install the program just as if you had triggered the installation over Active Sync. Not only does this make you more flexible (as you can install AGEphone Mobile on the go), it also enables users of non-Microsoft operating systems to install the softphone. Those users would be left out if we chose to distribute the program as an .EXE installer.
