Interface translation

Postby fpaliuc on Tue Oct 28, 2008 1:22 am

Hi Michael!

I could translate the interface into Italian and Romanian; all I need is a text file with all the text options in english.

Thank you very much for your offer - we really appreciate your efforts and will include new translations as soon as possible! Actually, you don't need a source file either as you've got something even better: All the language files are in the Program Files \ AGEphone directory (language.xx.ini) and you can start translating right away! The Italian translation is about 75% done right now and might be a good start. You can easily test Romanian by naming the file after one of the existing translations and selecting the according language in the AGEphone Mobile settings.

Thank you very much for your translations which we will include with the next release (probably 2.72)! Could you also save both files as UTF-8 and make a second attachment? As we use mostly Japanese PCs here the local encoding doesn't get displayed correctly in my text editor. If for that reason you have left out special characters in the Romanian translation there's no harm using those as we will soon overhaul the GUI to support UTF-8.
