No front Speaker on Samsung Blackjack II (i617)

Postby snooky on Sun Sep 07, 2008 12:05 am

Tried selecting switch speaker radio button in settings and changing default audio, but neither selection delivers audio to the ear piece speaker. Any fixes in the works?
I'm using version 2120.
Couldn't find the log file to attach, but it seems that it is just the SIP handshaking with my voice server, and that's all working really well.

Hello snooky and welcome to the forums! The Blackjack II is not currently on the list of supported devices for speakerswitching, but we are working on the feature and hope to extend it to some more than just the currently supported HTC Trinity, Hermes, Touch (Dual) and Kaiser. Good to hear that everything else is working fine! :)

I'd also like BlackJack II support -- it's a very popular phone in the US.

Alright, as soon as we have means to test this further we will look into enabling additional phones.

OK, I'd be happy to test this for you or provide debug logs etc. If that would be useful, leave an email address and I'll contact you directly.

Thank you for the offer! We definitely will need testers if we extend the functionality and the more people help out the faster we will see some results. My mail address is support // ageet // com, but provided you entered yours here I will get in touch with you once we are ready.
