Here are some more informations:

the mobile is a iPAQ Voice Messanger 514
WLAN works fine. The AGEphone says "Cone NAT -- sipgate.de OK -- Demoversion"
The Account is: 192.168.6.116:46600@N/A - is this the Problem?
on the left, there is a plug and on the right hand of this a line with a box in the middle.

I can try to dial, but nothing happens.

Regards,
Timo

Hello Timo - Welcome to the forums and thank you for the detailed description. Luckily, your problem is just that sipgate.de hasn't been selected as the default provider. Please go to the provider options, select sipgate.de and make it default via the right menu. Alternatively, you can tap and hold the screen or enter button in the main window which will bring up the provider quickswitch menu. Select sipgate.de and you should be set to make your calls.

Hello Michael,

thanks for your help. Sipgate says in my Account-Page that I´m connected:

AGEET SIP Stack 2.25 ageet.com
IP: sip:3305022e0@89.13.46.211:37600

I set sipgate @ default, and the software displayed 3305022e0@sipgate.de
every time.

I think taht´s ok. But if I try to make a call, only "not found" will be shown.
What do I have to enter as the stun adress?
Do I have to open any ports on the Fritz!Box?

Regards, Timo

It seems that the softphone at least registers correctly and that excludes any errors on the provider setup part. As you mentioned the Fritz!Box I assume that you are using your home WLAN and not a 3G connection. Setting STUN / UPnP is therefore correct and you can enter a wide array of STUN servers. "stun.sipgate.de" will do the job just fine. You can also leave the standard as for this function all servers work just the same. Once you are done with the setup (if there is anything to change), please keep an eye on what AGEphone Mobile reports right after the start. It should say UPnP / Cone NAT / Port Restricted NAT. If it says "Blocked" then something is wrong with your network, but normally you don't have to open any ports on your router unless you are using a special network configuration (multiple routers for example). Please let me take a look at your logs that you can create according to this post. You can send them per mail or even better just post the two files here.

Hello again,

I have now the HTC S730. The connections to Sipate works fine. I con phone out and can get phone calls from other peoples. But there are 2 problems:
1. I have a large delay
2. My voice is distorted at the other end of the line

Is there a way to fix it?

Regards,
Timo

There are several options that allow to mend 1. and 2., but let me ask you a question first: Are you using WiFi or mobile internet? In case of the latter and GPRS / EDGE: Please note that while the bandwidth can be sufficient for VoIP telephony the latency to the closest cell is way too high to have a decent conversation. If you are using 3G (UMTS / HSDPA) then it might be worth to check the "Audio Packet Size" option on page 3 of the provider options. 40 ms has proved to be a good value for 3G connections, but it may well be that it is another value for you. If you haven't tested with WiFi yet, it may be a good idea just to compare if you get the same behavior.

Is it possible to register a sipgate local voip in number that you get incoming phone calls?

and if, how?

In the AGEphone - settings i didn't find the possibility where to write the number...

Thanks

People can call you using your local sipgate.de number as soon as you are registered to the provider. If you want to make sure that your number shows when you make calls on the other end it's best to enter it as "Display Name" in the provider configuration. And that's it already - nothing else to do to receive and place calls with your sipgate.de DID.

Thanks Michael,
is only strange, that if i am registered and phone the sipgate number from another phone comes "the person you are calling is temporarily not available.
But ones more thanks that i know its not a problem of your program but its a sipgate problem.

I have been using sipgate.de myself without encountering this problem and can definitely attest that this is not a fundamental problem with AGEphone Mobile. Can you log into your sipgate settings and check whether the extension shows as registered and if it shows the ageet SIP stack? If that is visible, AGEphone registered correctly with the server and we can troubleshoot from there.
