|
|
I run agephone mobil 2.1 on a htc touch with wm6 CE OS 5.2.1620 (Build 18125.4.2)
I can't get agephone to work with a bluetooth headset.
In the Agephone audio settings there is an output option for "bluetooth advanced" but no Bluetooth input option.
I read that a software called "BTAudioToggle.exe" can fix this.
Is this really necessary or am I doing something wrong?

There is no need to change the audio device in AGEphone as at this moment you indeed need to use BTAudioToggle.exe. For further information about this utility please refer to this thread. The package you can download there or at the end of this post also contains BTAudioOn.exe / BTAudioOff.exe, but using BTAudioToggle.exe does the job just fine in most cases.
Please go to "Settings - Other" and give AGEphone the path to the .exe file there for "Execute on Connect" and "Execute on Disc." without any further parameters. If your BT headset is paired properly with your phone AGEphone will automatically switch output and input to the device whenever you accept a call. It's probably of note that BTAudioToggle.exe only works with the Microsoft Bluetooth Stack. I hope this helps to solve your problem for now.

| I just tried this and it doesn't seem to work with the Widcomm stack. It tell me that it "Failed to open Bluetooth Audio Gateway.". Using an iPAQ hx2490b on WM5.

| Thank you for confirming that the tool doesn't work for your device with the Widcomm Stack either. I just gave it another shot to see if there is another way to force the headset on regardless of the application supporting it. Unfortunately there seems to be no way to do this (as far as I can see) and you have to wait for AGEphone to properly support the Widcomm stack. If you or anybody else can find a solution for this problem it would be great if you took the time to post it here.
