Somebody in another forum told the AGEphone Mobile now works with the HTC Touch CRUISE, too. Is that official for the earspeaker? I'm not going to bye a WLAN phone which I can't use as a VoIP phone in a proper manner. How stupid would this be? F**k all the blocking telcos!
Is there a list what models are supported with the earspeaker?
I'm also specifically interested in Samsung SGH-i780, Gloifiish X800 and maybe HTC Touch Diamond.
Thanks for doing this great software! Hope you never sell it to a telco.

| Hello tripex, welcome to the forums and thank you for the complimenting our AGEphone Mobile! For now there is only support for the HTC Trinity, Hermes, Touch (Dual) and Kaiser, but we plan to gradually add support for every relevant Windows Mobile 5 / 6 device so that nobody ever needs to look back to normal calls! If the speaker switch doesn't work on your device, please attach your basic log file to the thread for our reference. It contains no personal information, but you can further shorten it to display just the hardware specs of your device. The required info can be found under "Menu - About - More...". Just press "Save" and the program informs you where you can find the "Info.txt" file it created. Please also add your ROM and version numbers if possible.

Well, at this time I don't have a smartphone at all. I just want to know what I get for a 500 EUR brick.

So many to choose from... I know your problem If you are not in a total hurry waiting for the Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 might be worth it - looks like one really great WM device to me!

No way. From my experience I can say where there is something mechanical it will break sooner or later. So only a barren is useful for me. It's offline but finally I took the HTC Touch Cruise. It's popular, not too old like the Trinity not too fresh like the diamond and I hope they issue the graphics driver with the 6.1 update in a couple of weeks. Then it would be the best allrounder with the best battery (even upgradeable to 3000mAh) at a reasonable price.
Of course I hope that I can use it finally with AGEphone Mobile or maybe it even works already. At least I can use it for outgoing calls. But even if not. I make VoIP calls anyway at home and for this case I can still use my dual WLAN/GSM handy. The advantage is that I can leave it at home because the Touch Cruise will replace the GSM part.

Interesting view and definitely true to some extent when it comes to wearing out the mechanisms. My Universal's hinge sure isn't as sturdy anymore as it used to be two and a half years ago, but then again that is an impressive age for a WM phone anyway. Going for the less prominent option definitely has more than that advantage though as I am sure it also saved you quite some money

For your information, I was testing the software in two different devices.
1) HTC TOUCH ELF0100 with ROM version 1.14.75.2 ESN
2) HTC TOUCH CRUISE with ROM 1.14.75.2 ESN and the earspeaker is working. However in this devices I can hear perfectly, but the voice quality for the person than is calling me is very bad (choppy). In the network I don“t have packet loss and the jitter is below 20 msg.

| Hello ufinet and welcome to the forums! You might be able to resolve the choppiness with a little tweak. Usually this is not necessary and therefore you won't find this option in the GUI. Please open "sipd.conf" under "My Documents / My Phone Booth" and scroll down to the [Audio] section. You will find a string called "OutBufferCnt=4" there that you might want to increase a bit. I hope this solves the stuttering for you. As for the not supported "ELF0100", your report is congruent with other feedback and I can confirm that the speaker switch is not working on this device. You could try to change the ROM as there are many ELF devices that seem to be working. We are also working on another approach right now that will enable the function without changing the OS, but it will take a while until you see any results.
