problem setting up voipdiscount.com using three.co.uk

Postby nrg on Sat Oct 04, 2008 7:37 pm

Hi, I was trying to setup connection for voipdiscount.com unfortunately it doesn't work on my mobile broadband on three, using same settings there is no problem to connect and use voipdiscount on local wlan connection (stun/upnp). I managed to register to voipdiscount service on mobile broadband changing settings/network NAT Traversal to local IP or manual instead stun/upnp, but when I try to dial phone number I'm getting service unavailable. I was speaking with 3 broadband help asking them if they are blocking voip providers or certain ports on their network but they said they don't. Could you help me? Below I'm posting my info.txt

What kind of NAT did AGEphone report when you used STUN / UPnP?

Does it mean they are blocking the service?

Thank you very much for providing me the 2nd log file. "Port Restricted NAT" is just fine and we can rule out the network itself as a factor now. Can you please show me the detailed log as described under http://ageet.freeforums.org/creating-log-files-t31.html ? That way we should be able to see what's going wrong :)

I wrote this already by mail, but just in case anyone else is interested: It seems that not all Three tariffs fully support SIP. Please refer to this thread for more information.
